The Johnston City Indians basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Gallatin County Hawks to 42 in the Indians non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Indians now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sesser-Valier/Waltonville for a Black Diamond - West contest on Monday, December 4.

The Hawks (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Pope County (Golconda, IL). The Pirates enter the Greater Egyptian contest with a 8-0 record.
