The Omaha Northwest Huskies basketball team (Omaha, NE), was overwhelmed 51-30 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Gretna East Griffins (Gretna, NE)

The Griffins now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Benson for a non-league battle on Friday, December 1.

The Huskies (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Burke (Omaha, NE). The Bulldogs come into the A District TBD battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Burke was overwhelmed by Westview (Omaha, NE), 64-25, in a league battle.
