Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC) and the visiting Heide Trask Titans (Rocky Point, NC), saw North Brunswick's basketball squad knock off Heide Trask by a count of 44-24.

With the victory, North Brunswick upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Scorpions travel to East Columbus (Lake Waccamaw, NC) to play the Gators in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Gators come into the challenge with a record of 3-0. East Columbus won 46-27 in their recent non-league challenge against South Brunswick (Southport, NC)

Next up, the Titans play the West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 1. Heide Trask will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 42-38 non-league win over Cape Fear Academy (Wilmington, NC).
