In Thursday's non-league outing, the Illini West Chargers (Carthage, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Rushville-Industry Rockets (Rushville, IL), by a margin of 53-29.

The Chargers (4-4) will now prepare for their outing against Central/Southeastern (Camp Point, IL). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 4-0 record. In their last outing, Central/Southeastern smashed Macomb (Macomb, IL), 42-32, in a non-league outing.

The Rockets now own a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mendon Unity for a West Central - South contest on Monday, December 4. Rushville-Industry will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 36-24 league loss to Quincy Notre Dame (Quincy, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-2.
