The Skyline Prep Bengals basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting James Madison Preparatory School Patriots to 18 in the Bengals non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Bengals now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Ridge for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Skyline Prep will battle a Mavericks team coming off a 50-24 non-league loss to Alta Vista Charter (Tucson, AZ). The Mavericks record now stands at 0-3.

The Patriots (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Alta Vista Charter (Tucson, AZ). The Lobos enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Alta Vista Charter triumphed over South Ridge (Phoenix, AZ), 50-24, in a non-league contest.
