Lake Region Thunder (Eagle Lake, FL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Jordan Christian Prep Seahawks (Auburndale, FL), 60-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lake Region upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Thunder host Auburndale (Auburndale, FL) to play the Bloodhounds in a 5A District 7 bout on Monday, December 4. The Bloodhounds go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Auburndale lost 55-2 in their recent non-league bout against George Jenkins (Lakeland, FL)

Next up, the Seahawks play the Central Pointe Christian Academy CPCA (Kissimmee, FL) in a National Independent - South bout, on Monday, December 4. Jordan Christian Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
