Sterlington Panthers (Sterlington, LA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Oak Grove Tigers (Oak Grove, LA), 39-26 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Sterlington upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Delhi (Delhi, LA) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Bears come into the bout with a record of 2-5. Delhi lost 49-12 in their recent non-league bout against Bastrop (Bastrop, LA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Ouachita Christian Eagles (Monroe, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Oak Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 38-26 non-league loss to LaSalle (Olla, LA).
