In Thursday's league match, the visiting Woodside Wolverines basketball team scored a good 69-55 triumph over the Phoebus Phantoms.
In their next game, the Wolverines meet the Bethel Bruins (Hampton, VA) in a Peninsula match, on Tuesday, December 5. Woodside will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Bruins enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 85-29 league loss to Menchville (Newport News, VA).
With the defeat, Phoebus moves to 1-1 on the year. The Phantoms travel to Heritage (Newport News, VA) to meet the Hurricanes in a Peninsula match on Tuesday, December 5. The Hurricanes enter the match with a record of 1-1. Heritage won 45-24 in their recent league match against Denbigh (Newport News, VA)
