The St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors (Downey, CA) basketball crushed the host St. Genevieve Valiants (Panorama City, CA), 54-24 in Thursday's league test.

The Warriors (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Warren (Downey, CA). The Bears go into the non-league test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Warren was trounced by Palos Verdes (Palos Verdes Estates, CA), 41-38, in a non-league test.

The Valiants now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to San Gabriel Mission for a Santa Fe test on Tuesday, December 5. St. Genevieve will encounter a Pioneers squad coming off a 44-29 non-league loss to Calvary Baptist (La Verne, CA). The Pioneers record now stands at 0-5.
