The Fernley Vaqueros topped the visiting South Tahoe Vikings basketball team by a final score of 46-31 in Thursday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Vaqueros face the Bishop Manogue Miners (Reno, NV) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 1. Fernley will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Miners enter the game with a 2-0 record after their 36-29 non-league win over Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV).
The Vikings now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Portola for a non-league test on Friday, December 1. South Tahoe will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 40-13 non-league win over Yerington (Yerington, NV). The Tigers record now stands at 2-0.
