Hoke County Bucks (Raeford, NC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC), 35-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hoke County upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Bucks host South View (Hope Mills, NC) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-0. South View won 31-30 in their recent non-league bout against Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC)

Next up, the Fighting Scots clash with the Hoke County Bucks (Raeford, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Scotland will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
