South Carolina High School Basketball - Chapin crushes Newberry

November 30, 2023: Chapin, SC 29036

Chapin Eagles (Chapin, SC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Newberry Bulldogs (Newberry, SC), 52-19 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Chapin upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Eagles host Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC) to play the War Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, December 4. The War Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Fairfield Central Griffins (Winnsboro, SC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 6. Newberry will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
