The McCormick Chiefs basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Saluda Tigers to 41 in the Chiefs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Chiefs now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Emerald for a non-league contest on Monday, December 4.

The Tigers (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Strom Thurmond (Johnston, SC). The Rebels enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Strom Thurmond was defeated by South Aiken (Aiken, SC), 42-35, in a non-league contest.
