In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Cannon Falls Bombers basketball team scored a good 78-58 triumph over the La Crescent Lancers.
The Bombers (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Goodhue (Goodhue, MN). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Goodhue topped Fillmore Central (Harmony, MN), 85-45, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Lancers confront the Cotter Ramblers (Winona, MN) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 5. La Crescent will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Ramblers go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 68-53 non-league win over Houston (Houston, MN).
