The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lanier Longhorns (Sugar Hill, GA) and the host Mountain View Bears (Lawrenceville, GA), observed Lanier's basketball team overwhelm Mountain View by a margin of 65-36.
The Longhorns (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Roswell (Roswell, GA). The Hornets come into the AAAAA Region 7 challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Roswell was trounced by Towers (Decatur, GA), 57-52, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bears battle the Buford Wolves (Buford, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 8 challenge, on Tuesday, December 3. Mountain View will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 74-65 non-league win over Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA).
