In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Irvine Vaqueros basketball team scored a good 54-37 triumph over the Northwood Timberwolves.

The Vaqueros (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Trabuco Hills (Mission Viejo, CA). The Mustangs go into the non-league contest with a 8-0 record. In their last contest, Trabuco Hills topped Laguna Beach (Laguna Beach, CA), 52-46, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Timberwolves confront the Tustin Tillers (Tustin, CA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 2. Northwood will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Tillers go into the contest with a 3-2 record after their 35-31 non-league loss to Valencia (Placentia, CA).
