Louisiana High School Basketball - Quitman can't hold off Claiborne Christian

The Claiborne Christian Crusaders basketball team scored 36 points and held the visiting Quitman Wolverines to 34 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Friday.

The Crusaders now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Downsville for a non-league contest on Monday, November 7. Claiborne Christian will battle a Demons team coming off a 51-34 non-league loss to Family Community Christian (Winnsboro, LA). The Demons record now stands at 0-2.

The Wolverines (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Saline (Saline, LA). The Bobcats enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Saline was nudged by Summerfield (Summerfield, LA), 70-59, in a non-league contest.
