Mooreville Troopers (Mooreville, MS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Hatley Tigers (Amory, MS), 63-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mooreville upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Troopers travel to Oxford (Oxford, MS) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 5. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Oxford won 59-34 in their recent non-league bout against Calhoun City (Calhoun City, MS)

Next up, the Tigers play the Tremont Eagles (Tremont, MS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 8. Hatley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
