Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Capital Jaguars (Santa Fe, NM), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Monarchs (7-11) will now prepare for their challenge against La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM). The Bears enter the challenge with a 14-1 record. In their last challenge, La Cueva beat Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM), 2-0, in a league test.

The Jaguars now own a 5-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eldorado for a non-league test on Thursday, November 6. Capital will face a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 9-7.
