The Pirates now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Floyd Central for a non-league battle on Thursday, November 10. Charlestown will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 43-33 non-league win over Austin (Austin, IN). The Highlanders record now stands at 1-1.

The Hilltoppers (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Jac-Cen-Del (Osgood, IN). The Eagles come into the Ohio River Valley battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Jac-Cen-Del was overwhelmed by Greensburg (Greensburg, IN), 69-35, in a non-league battle.
