In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Marist Spartans soccer squad scored a close 2-0 triumph over the Philomath Warriors.
The Spartans (16-1) will now prepare for their battle against North Marion (Aurora, OR). The Huskies come into the non-league battle with a 9-1 record. In their last battle, North Marion nudged Scappoose (Scappoose, OR), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
