In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Santa Teresa Desert Warriors volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Chaparral Lobos.

The Desert Warriors (7-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Deming (Deming, NM). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 1-9 record. In their last challenge, Deming was nudged by Silver (Silver City, NM), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lobos play the Silver Fighting Colts (Silver City, NM) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, November 9. Chaparral will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Fighting Colts enter the contest with a 13-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Deming (Deming, NM).
