Wayne Memorial Zebras (Wayne, MI) followers left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the host Crestwood Chargers (Dearborn Heights, MI), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Zebras (14-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Franklin (Livonia, MI). The Patriots come into the Kensington Lakes - East challenge with a 11-19 record. In their last challenge, Franklin edged Garden City (Garden City, MI), 3-0, in a non-league test.
The Chargers now sport a 9-15 record.
