The Maynard Tigers basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Armorel Tigers to 44 in the Tigers league triumph on Monday.

The Tigers now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mammoth Spring for a 1A Region 3 contest on Tuesday, November 7. Maynard will play a Bears squad coming off a 68-64 non-league win over Sloan-Hendrix (Imboden, AR). The Bears record now stands at 6-0.

Next up, the Tigers play the Crowley's Ridge Academy Falcons (Paragould, AR) in a 1A Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, November 7. Armorel will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 55-28 league win over KIPP Blytheville (Blytheville, AR).
