Rapides Mustangs (Lecompte, LA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Converse Wildcats (Converse, LA), 55-12 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Rapides upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Lacassine (Lacassine, LA) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 9. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 2-0. Lacassine won 70-36 in their recent non-league bout against Holden (Holden, LA)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Singer Hornets (Singer, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 7. Converse will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Hornets come into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 68-51 non-league loss to Plainview (Glenmora, LA).
