Hillcrest Christian Cougars (Jackson, MS) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host St. Aloysius Flashes (Vicksburg, MS), 78-22 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Hillcrest Christian upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Hazlehurst (Hazlehurst, MS) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 9. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Hazlehurst lost 44-29 in their recent non-league bout against St. Andrew's Episcopal (Ridgeland, MS)

Next up, the Flashes play the Delta Streets Academy Lions (Greenwood, MS) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 9. St. Aloysius will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 72-36 non-league win over Delta Academy (Marks, MS).
