Spring Hill Bears (Hope, AR) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Taylor Tigers (Taylor, AR), 57-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Spring Hill upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bears travel to Jessieville (Jessieville, AR) to clash with the Lions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 7. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Foreman Gator Arkansas (Foreman, AR) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 14. Taylor will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Gator Arkansas go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 66-42 non-league win over Legacy Academy (Lockesburg, AR).
