The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Escalante Lobos (Tierra Amarilla, NM) and the visiting Mora Rangers/Rangerettes (Mora, NM), saw Escalante's volleyball squad nip Mora by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Escalante upgrades its record to 15-7 on the year. The Lobos travel to McCurdy (Espanola, NM) to play the Bobcats in a 2A District 5 bout on Wednesday, November 8. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 13-6. McCurdy lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Questa (Questa, NM)

The Rangers/Rangerettes now own a 5-13 record. They play next when they host Mesa Vista for a 2A District 5 bout on Wednesday, November 8. Mora will play a Trojans squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Penasco (Penasco, NM). The Trojans record now stands at 2-17.
