Maryland High School Football - Howard trounces Long Reach

In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Howard Lions football squad scored a decisive 47-6 victory over the Long Reach Lightning.

The Lions (7-3) will now prepare for their match against River Hill (Clarksville, MD). The Hawks enter the non-league battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, River Hill walloped Poolesville (Poolesville, MD), 63-0, in a non-league battle.

The Lightning now own a 3-7 record.
