The Praise Academy Lions got by the visiting Cherokee Christian Warriors flag football squad by a count of 20-13 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Lions now hold a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host Lafayette Christian for a GAPPS D1 Region 2 test on Monday, November 10. Praise Academy will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 26-14 league win over Konos Academy (Fayetteville, GA). The Cougars record now stands at 5-1.

With the defeat, Cherokee Christian drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Warriors host Johnson Ferry Christian Academy (Marietta, GA) to meet the Saints in a GAPPS D1 Region 1 test on Monday, November 10. The Saints come into the test with a record of 9-1. Johnson Ferry Christian Academy won 24-6 in their recent league challenge against Cherokee Christian (Woodstock, GA)
