The Anson Tigers basketball team scored 32 points and held the host Jayton Jaybirds to 29 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roscoe for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 11. Anson will meet a Plowboys team coming off a 39-33 non-league loss to Ballinger (Ballinger, TX). The Plowboys record now stands at 0-1.
The Jaybirds (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Highland (Roscoe, TX). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Highland tipped Post (Post, TX), 45-16, in a non-league game.
