Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears (Orange, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Legacy Christian Academy Warriors (Beaumont, TX), 67-2 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Little Cypress-Mauriceville upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bears travel to Port Neches-Groves (Port Neches, TX) to clash with the Indians in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 14. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Port Neches-Groves lost 66-28 in their recent non-league bout against Orangefield (Orangefield, TX)

Next up, the Warriors clash with the Allen Academy Rams (Bryan, TX) in a TAPPS 2A District 6 bout, on Friday, December 15. Legacy Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
