The Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy Warriors basketball team scored 32 points and restricted the visiting Tornillo Coyotes to 23 in the Warriors non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Warriors now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fabens for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 9. Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 42-24 non-league loss to Austin (El Paso, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-2.
The Coyotes (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bowie (El Paso, TX). The Bears come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Bowie dropped by Hanks (El Paso, TX), 70-13, in a non-league contest.
