In Tuesday's league contest, the Corona/Vaughn (Corona, NM) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Mountainair Mustangs (Mountainair, NM), by a margin of 3-0.
Next up, the battle the Hondo Valley Eagles (Hondo, NM) in a 1A District 3 contest, on Thursday, November 9. Corona/Vaughn will attempt to better on its 5-14 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 2-14 record after their 3-0 league loss to Carrizozo (Carrizozo, NM).
With the loss, Mountainair moves to 3-16 on the year.
