In Friday's non-league contest, the host Lake Cormorant basketball team scored a big 47-24 triumph over the Clarksdale Wildcats.
The (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Horn Lake (Horn Lake, MS). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Horn Lake smashed Gentry (Indianola, MS), 42-16, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Pontotoc Warriors (Pontotoc, MS) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, November 8. Clarksdale will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record.
