In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting West Valley Wolf Pack ice hockey team scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Palmer Moose.
The Wolf Pack (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Houston (Big Lake, AK). The Hawks come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Houston was nipped by Soldotna (Soldotna, AK), 5-3, in a non-league game.
The Moose now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Eagle River for a non-league game on Saturday, November 8.
