Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Hooks Hornets (Hooks, TX) and the visiting Jefferson Bulldogs (Jefferson, TX), saw Hooks's basketball squad knock off Jefferson by a count of 48-40.
With the victory, Hooks upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Bloomburg (Bloomburg, TX) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, November 17. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 2-0.
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Daingerfield Tigers (Daingerfield, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, November 12. Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 82-13 non-league loss to Marshall (Marshall, TX).
