In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Wesson Cobras (Wesson, MS) basketball squad nipped the visiting Loyd Star Hornets (Brookhaven, MS), by a margin of 55-49.

The Cobras (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Bogue Chitto (Bogue Chitto, MS). The Bobcats go into the non-league outing with a 0-0 record.
