Salem Wildcats (Tylertown, MS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Woodlawn Prep Wolfpack (Columbia, MS), 51-9 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Salem upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Loyd Star (Brookhaven, MS) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 10. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Loyd Star lost 55-49 in their recent non-league bout against Wesson (Wesson, MS)
Next up, the Wolfpack play the Mt. Salus Christian Eagles (Clinton, MS) in a MAIS 2A District 2 bout, on Thursday, November 17. Woodlawn Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
