Texas High School Basketball - Hudson nips Pollok Central

November 8, 2024: Lufkin, TX 75904

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Hudson Hornets basketball team scored a close 54-49 win over the Pollok Central Bulldogs.

The Hornets (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Pineywoods Community Academy (Lufkin, TX). The Timberwolves come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Pineywoods Community Academy edged Leggett (Leggett, TX), 60-27, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Wells Pirates (Wells, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, November 12. Pollok Central will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Pirates come into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 52-39 non-league win over Douglass (Douglass, TX).
