The McDonogh Eagles (Owings Mills, MD) football were victorious over the visiting Calvert Hall Cardinals (Baltimore, MD), 21-10 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles face the Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers (Severn, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, November 15. McDonogh will attempt to improve on its 10-1 season record. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a 11-0 record after their 38-0 non-league win over Mount St. Joseph (Baltimore, MD).
The Cardinals (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Loyola Blakefield (Towson, MD). The Dons enter the MIAA A challenge with a 5-5 record. In their last challenge, Loyola Blakefield ran past Milford Mill Academy (Baltimore, MD), 27-20, in a non-league challenge.
