The Murrieta Valley Nighthawks (Murrieta, CA) football tipped the visiting Rancho Cucamonga Cougars (Rancho Cucamonga, CA), 49-42 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Nighthawks now sport a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Los Alamitos for a non-league outing on Friday, November 15. Murrieta Valley will clash with a Griffins squad coming off a 36-22 non-league win over Leuzinger (Lawndale, CA). The Griffins record now stands at 6-5.

With the defeat, Rancho Cucamonga drops to 6-5 on the campaign.
