The Thornton Academy Trojans football squad scored 36 points and limited the visiting South Portland Red Riots to 12 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Trojans now sport a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they host Noble for a A South test on Saturday, November 16. Thornton Academy will meet a Knights squad coming off a 28-24 non-league win over Bonny Eagle (Standish, ME). The Knights record now stands at 8-2.

With the defeat, South Portland drops to 5-5 on the campaign.
