Mississippi High School Basketball - Stone toppled by Long Beach

Long Beach Bearcats (Long Beach, MS) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Stone Tomcats (Wiggins, MS), 46-30 in a non-league contest.

The Bearcats (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against St. Patrick (Biloxi, MS). The Fighting Irish go into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, St. Patrick was toppled by Southeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS), 44-33, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Tomcats confront the Gautier Gators (Gautier, MS) in a non-league outing, on Monday, November 10. Stone will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Gators enter the outing with a 0-4 record after their 58-45 non-league loss to St. Martin (Ocean Springs, MS).
