Greenwood Bulldogs (Greenwood, MS) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Leflore County Tigers (Itta Bena, MS), 69-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Greenwood upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Coahoma County (Clarksdale, MS) to play the Red Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 11. The Red Panthers come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Coahoma County won 53-25 in their recent non-league bout against West Tallahatchie (Webb, MS)

Next up, the Tigers play the Kosciusko Whippets (Kosciusko, MS) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 11. Leflore County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Whippets come into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 63-56 non-league loss to Neshoba Central (Philadelphia, MS).
