Eagletown Eagles (Eagletown, OK) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Fort Towson Tigers (Fort Towson, OK), 40-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, Eagletown upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Haworth (Haworth, OK) to play the Lions in a McCurtain Six bout on Tuesday, November 14. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 0-2. Haworth lost 50-18 in their recent league bout against Rattan (Rattan, OK)

Next up, the Tigers play the Bennington Bears (Bennington, OK) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 14. Fort Towson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Bears come into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 34-32 non-league win over Clayton (Clayton, OK).
