The Sabine Cardinals (Gladewater, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Spring Hill Panthers (Longview, TX), 28-23 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Cardinals (1-0) will now prepare for their test against West Rusk (New London, TX). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, West Rusk was tipped by Quitman (Quitman, TX), 50-29, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Christian Heritage for a non-league test on Tuesday, November 14.
