The Parkland Matadors basketball team scored 40 points and restricted the host Ysleta Indians to 10 in the Matadors non-league victory on Thursday.

The Matadors now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ysleta for a contest on Friday, January 5.
