The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Capitan Tigers (Capitan, NM) and the visiting Mescalero Apache Chiefs (Mescalero, NM), saw Capitan's volleyball squad nip Mescalero Apache by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Capitan upgrades its record to 5-6 on the year. The Tigers travel to Lordsburg (Lordsburg, NM) to play the Mavericks in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 11. The Mavericks go into the bout with a record of 1-0.
The Chiefs now own a 0-5 record.
