Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Hempfield Black Knights (Landisville, PA) and the visiting State College Little Lions (State College, PA), observed Hempfield's volleyball team top State College by a count of 3-1.

The Black Knights (21-2) will now prepare for their contest against North Allegheny (Wexford, PA). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 11-0 record.

Next, the Little Lions battle the Mifflin County Huskies (Lewistown, PA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, November 9. State College will attempt to move on its 12-5 season record. The Huskies enter the contest with a 1-8 record after their 1-0 league loss to Trinity (Camp Hill, PA).
